ATHLETES CODE OF CONDUCT

  1. We will always remember we are godly young men and women reaching after competitive excellence.  And, as such, we will always put God first in everything we do.
  2. We will follow the two essential elements of ethics in sports - honesty and integrity.
  3. We will always support and practice good sportsmanship.
  4. We will always respect ourselves, our coaches, our parents, our teammates, our peers, and anyone in authority.
  5. We will not use profanity, obscene or offensive gestures during or after a sporting event or practice.
  6. We will not ridicule anyone who is perceived as being "different" from us.
  7. We will be humble in victory and gracious in defeat.
  8. We will not criticize or riducule our teammates for making mistakes.
  9. We will always be supportive of each member of our team, and be aware of the impact that our individual words and actions have on our success, and the success and feelings of others.
  10. We will value our differences, listen to different points of view, and support our team decisions.
